Introduction

The RIVTAF golf estate is one of the largest and most luxurious golf estates in the country with a 9-hole golf course and several other luxurious amenities. Built on 40 hectares of swamp, barely accessible land, the estate is a marvel of architecture and engineering.

A little History

The idea for this ambitious project was birthed in 2013 and the execution began after a Joint Venture Agreement was reached between the government of Rivers State and Taf Nigeria Homes Limited (the Nigerian arm of TAF Africa Global Limited, a Pan Africa real estate development company).

Featuring well-manicured lawns and beautiful landscape views, this gated community was built to include several interesting amenities. There is a water reticulation system, underground electrical infrastructure, an extensive sewage treatment system, a clubhouse with a swimming pool and gym, a recreation center, a 140-shop mall, and of course the golf course.

This hybrid estate merges the residential and commercial experiences seamlessly for the residents. This is probably why apartments or stores in the mall are difficult to acquire, as they are always in high demand and sold out most of the time.

• Access Control Solution: The RIVTAF estate uses Venco’s advanced access control product to manage its visitor entry and exit and the resident identification system generates pre-booking codes for visitors, ensuring a seamless and secure entry process which has helped to maintain a safe environment for residents, businesses, and visitors.
• Vending: With so many residents, vending utilities including electricity can be tricky. With Venco’s unique product, we have made this process easy for all the residents. 
• Collections: Venco also manages all collections of bills and service charge payments for all the residents in the estate, providing transparency and increasing trust between residents and facility management.
• Reporting & Accounting: Readily available reports and accounting services on the Venco App have helped RIVTAF Golf Estate to control its finances accurately and reduce money-related issues considerably.
• Issue Management: Living in such a large residential community will come with its issues. Venco’s suite of apps has enabled this community to report and solve these day-to-day issues efficiently.
• Meter Migration: We migrated 700 meters in RIVTAF Golf Estate successfully during the TID rollover and upgraded the software.
